That's why I TRY to keep my political views off this list.  I know they would offend some/or more of you, and there's no need for that here. If you're as polarized in your viewpoint as I am, there's almost no chance that you're going to change my opinions or beliefs, and I recognize that there's little chance I'm going to change yours either.  So why engage in an exercise of futility and frustration?

If you friend me on facebook, you'll get my political views pretty much full blast, though even there, I try to restrain the uncontrollable cursing rage I feel when I think of the sheer dumbfuckery running rampant in this country.

I hear ya Tom….it just takes one comment to get things rolling and it is a particular bad time for us politically here in the states (and around the world for that matter).

You know what? I'm sick of politics. I love music and all the gear and I respect all your opinions on those subjects...I hope you are all having happy lives and I commiserate with any of you who are having troubles with your girlfriends. If I am ever trapped in a fire I don't care if the person who helps me out is a Republican or Democrat . So I feel bad about getting angry at you guys. I won't tire any of you with my ill informed opinions on the state of the world. Please return the favor.

Sincerely,

Tom

a second thought.

I'm guessing that it's about Paul Revere's horse ride, during that period of time when the American settlers turned terrorist against the democratically elected British authorities. \":))\"
