Yes, they had (and still have) a great horn section. I did sound for them back in the 70’s with their original (I think) horn section that went on to form
Tower of Power (who I also did sound for back then). Lydia’s pipes are still in great shape! There was a lot of good music back then and
I have very fond memories (what parts I can remember that is) of working with a lot of those bands in their early days (or is the daze J).
