My job puts me in front of a lot of celebs for sure, but I have the best time working with the incredible musicians who come through my door and work on either albums, commercial underscores or film soundtracks. The most memorable was working with Eric Weissberg, who wrote and performed the famous "Dueling Banjos". He is trained as a orchestral bassist and his talent is huge.  During a break from recording, I asked him about any fun projects he was working on and he commented he was doing a reduction, for banjo, of Brahm's 3rd Symphony.  He proceeded to play the first movement for me to get my feedback.  I think my tears were enough affirmation for him.

I also talked shop and got plastered with Harry Nilsson.
