I've met most of my proggy heroes over the years...Moodies (with Patrick), Yes, Genesis/Hackett, Strawbs, Asia, Crimson (except Fripp),Renaissance. I got invited to an after show party with Genesis back in 74 and got drunk with Phil & Steve-they were a hoot.
Patrick Moraz came into Synthony Music in Scottsdale AZ back in 86 a few days before the Moodies were to play, to do some Kurzweil programming. I suggested we set up the whole synth room with "Patrick sounds" (including sampling stuff from THE STORY OF i) and we had it all set up so when he walked into the store and we were all being introduced, I told him "Patrick-we wanted to make you feel at home" and reached over to the sampler and started playing his sounds as the other store guys played other sounds & rhythms.Patrick loved it and gave me a big hug. We even had his trademark sound (the low "Doe...." voice sound he had on his tron)

Movie/TV celebrity wise... I have met and hung with many stars over the years.Made a nice friendship with David Hedison from VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA (I gave him one of my CDs which he loved)...Gary Lockwood from 2001....Dee Wallace (Mom from E.T.)...many more (mostly classic scifi stars)
