I met Mark Volman of The Turtles after a lounge gig they were doing in Vegas in the summer of '94 - he was pleasant, but not terribly interested in talking to fans.

Country heartthrob, Kenny Chesney stepped into my office in 2004 to make a phone call - I glanced at him, he glanced at me, neither of us said hi, and I went back to work.

Steve Jones, the guitarist for the Sex Pistols bummed cigarettes off me all night at a party in Kansas City in '81.  I met their drummer, Paul Cook, there too.  Most of my musician encounters have been with folks in the Punk genre, i.e. Henry Rollins - so they're not really what I'd call famous.

My other famous encounters have mostly been with writers and artists in Fantasy and Science Fiction, so I won't bore you guys with them.

My ex wife, growing up around the Bucks County/NYC axis met lots more famous people than I did, but who really wants to go there?
