Frank Samagaio went to see it and took some great photos. The machine is fer shit. It may be rare, but it's a rare piece of crap from what I can tell. The cabinet is delaminated in the back. There are major cracks in the wood itself. The machine is filled with rust, keys stick, doesn't cycle properly, etc. It doesn't look like was ever serviced to me. In fact, it doesn't look like anyone has opened it for 40 years.
Frank can tell you way more. I got all this from him, including about a dozen and a half close up photos. Better to spend the money on an M5000 and save a bit as well. This machine should go to a rich guy with a good set of tools and a lot of patience. It's a long way from playable. The photos and description were very deceiving. Kudos to Frank for checking it out.
