I'm not sure I would ever be comfortable taking any of these machines into a shop for sale (or putting on display) - in case someone started fooling around with it / damaged it.
I've had idiots damage my stuff before and I've learned my lesson.
Does the store insurance cover this if it's damaged??
I would supply several pictures and contact info instead.
But if you know them well, and they're responsible / accountable perhaps it's okay.On Thu, Mar 3, 2011 at 10:08 AM, skipsnips <skipsnips@aol.com> wrote:
I'm about to take M400S #878 into a high-end guitar shop that thinks it can sell it. It is in working order, though it could certainly use some loving restoration - one tape is stuck, but all else is fine for it's age. I also have a new set of basic sounds that was burned for me by Streetly but never got installed. I'm going to ask 2750.00 for me, so I assume they will price in mid-three's. I live in the Twin Cities, so if someone is (seriously, please) interested, give me a call. Thanks,
