Subject: Go compete with M-Tron?

This is for the Streetly guys.

Would you develop and release your Mellotron app instead as a VST, RTAS, or AU plug-in? I'm using M-Tron as my Melly and am becoming increasingly disappointed with the lack of authenticity in it. (Sounds are very close but lack some of the best hiss and scream, no matter what I do with EQ and compression.)

I use a Mac laptop gifted to me and a simple MIDI controller to run what I do. No interest in getting an iPhone or iPad or iAnything.

I'd want to see the MkII violins both DI and mic'd off a real MkII. MkII flutes of course. MkII brass (whichever mix KC used) All the MkII lead voices actually. That beautiful clarinet that M-Tron uses. Whatever accordion Pinder often used. The orchestra mix is a must. The old wheezing cello. Vibraphone. Viola+Cello I've heard KC use on occasion. Some of the best of Chamberlin voices would be nice, but not essential.

Love to have a half-speed "switch."

More or less I'm looking for something that does what M-Tron does, but without aurally sucking.

If you take up the project, I'm looking forward to purchasing the your product!
