They played two performances at that festival, and would have played a third day had the promoters not cancelled that show because they were running out of time. Bastards! But I saw that band live twice, and I consider myself quite fortunate. Changed my musical life.

Well, not exactly. I saw them live in Nov of 1969 at the West Palm Beach Rock Festival and they played that album and much of In the Wake of Poseidon. It was essentially the same show as the Fillmore shows on the live CDs.

Beautifully scary……more than somewhat creepy…..kind of like Beatles, Pink Floyd, and something creepy that would make perfect sense on LSD….
