You can play modern music on the Victrola.. You just get to hear them faster.

The Victrola is 78 RPM, kinda hard to listen to "modern music".
But it entertained my great grand parents, hence the "retention" of the device.
We had a Motorola HiFi too, spun my "Meet the Beatles" on it in mono too.

I don't understand why so many people still want vinyl, not much channel seperation or dynamic range there.
And I'm also a trained audio engineer and piano tuner, so no "tin ear" here.

Cool. I still have my parents' old Motorola HiFi. Mono... Excellent for listening to early Beatles and Beach Boys records. I haven't used it in 25 years.

I have a Victrola, been in the family for a very long time, and it looks and works fine.
Not for sale at any price.

Does your HiFi include a Victrola? ;-)

We have put the iPad through our standard hifi system and it sound amazing - especially our app!  Serously, the audio is first class.
