| Greetings Guys and Gals... long time since my last posting... I hope everyone has a "Cool Yule and a Fantastic First!!!" I heard about Woolly yesterday... an absolute tragedy! After hearing the news, the first thing I did was to put on the "Legacy" DVD so I could watch, and listen to Woolly. Back in the early 70's, I "broke" Barclay James Harvest on So.Florida radio... one of my proudest radio moments.Since then, I've considered Woolly, along with Mike Pinder, as my greatest musical influences when it comes to my keyboard playing. I was fortunate to meet Mike some years back... and I was hoping to meet Woolly someday, and maybe share a bottle of wine while we talked about the 'Tron (two things we had in common!). Woolly was a gentle soul, with a great sense of humor, and an amazing musical talent... an absolute master of the 300 'Tron. Those of you who knew him personally were very fortunate... and you have my deepest condolences. Rest in peace Woolly... your musical legacy will never be forgotten! J.P... going to watch the Legacy DVD again... . |
