Bruce - that's in the power supply.  The fuses on the motor controller card (at least the SMS4) are 1 and 2 amps.

Hey Nick-
  If Martin diesn't respond first...
5 amp standard fuses all around.  They should be rated 250 volts.  If one blows, get the unit troubleshot.  Good luck!

Just a minute, gotta go unplug mine...

Don't they burst into flames if you leave them plugged in?

Good Evening one and all
As a few of you know, I recently acquired an M400, serial number 360. One thing I've never seen is a technical manual for an M400, which, as an Electronic Engineer, would interest me a lot. I'd like to know the power consumption of an M400, as I need to know the size of fuse to stick in the mains plug. Also, does the M400 create power surges during normal operation, including the switch-on surge?

Nick,

You need to speak with the Official Mellotron Wankers of Streetly Electronics in lower downtown Uppppper Blithbury, Slightly North of Rugely Somewhere in the Midlands of the United Kingdom.

In other words, call Martin. He'll give you the correct gen and he might even answer your questions.

Trust me.

Rick

PS As an Electronic Engineer, believe me when I say that you don't want to know about all this. You have to take it on faith...
