analogue@...Subject: [AH] Storing Jupiter-8 Patches as.wav files
There is a site (I have lost the URL...) which has the original
Jupiter-8 factory patches downloadable as a .wav file. Connect the
computer up to the JP-8 in place of the cassette recorder and load in
the patches. I have successfully tried saving, verifying and loading
patches to/from the computer using the "Sound Recorder" utility set for
11025 Hertz sample rate, 8-bits, mono. The JP-8 does it's thing for
about 110 seconds. This gives a .wav file about 1.2 M in size, which
fits on a normal floppy disk. Make sure the signal levels are high
enough. ( Would be interested in trading JP-8 patch .wav files if anyone
else is doing this ). Mike I.
