Subject: RE: [AH] Jupiter 8 patch cassettes

~ My J8 came with what looks like a patch list of at least 8 banks of
~ sounds in the documentation. Did the original patch cassette come
~ with this many banks of sounds? or was it 8 seperate cassettes?

Good question(s). I don't own these 'original' patches on sheet. I'd
appriciate a xerox version or a digital version (if they're/could be made
available on the net?).

~ If anyone has factory or interesting patch cassettes laying around
~ or ones that they could copy for me (cass or cd) I would really
~ appreciate it and would be happy to pay for them.

Well, these ARE available through Music Machines on the net.
http://machines.hyperreal.org/manufacturers/Roland/Jupiter/ is the URL to
point your browser at. The original factory presets are recorded to a
WAV-file you can download for free. I still have to check them out myself...
but I trust they work just fine.

Cheers,
