Subject: [AH] Jupiter 4 for sale/swap

Hey list,

I've got a Jupiter 4 here that i bought not so long ago. I'm not
really into keyboard synths.... well, if i'm honest, i'm not motivated
to learn how to play it. i like the feel of step sequencers better.
also, the music i'm working on (breaky drum n bass with acid) lends
itself towards step sequenced synths more than key synths (IMHO of
course). Bottom line is, I have a bit gear that I can't use and I want
to swap it for something I can.

So, I'd like to swap it for a MIDI'd MC 202, or a Korg EA-1, or an old
FR 777. I could include some cash also, or if you have any other
offers, just email me. I'm open to any suggestions... I want a
sequencer synth in the 303 style without the 303's limitations. Also,
it must be MIDI... i know analoguers are big on CV/Gate but i own too
much MIDI gear to bother with it. :P

If you don't have any gear that you want to swap, it's for sale at
$900 AUSTRALIAN. this is negotiable, just email me in private and
discuss it with me. I'm open to gear/cash combinations.

Also, I'm in Perth, Western Australia... so I think that I'm going to
have to limit this to Australia. The Jupiter 4 is big and heavy. :)

Condition of Jupiter 4 : 1 osc card need recalibrating, but the mono
mode sounds huge. absolutely massive. check out the VSE for more info
about the synth (www.vintagesynth.com). There are some scratches on
the wood sides, however its only cosmetic. Everything (all the knobs
and sliders) work OK, although I've never seen the manual, and don't
really know heaps about analogues, so I don't know how to set up some
of the functions. My lack of knowledge, and lack of motivation for
this instrument are the things making me sell it... plus I'm sick of
using VST and Fruityloops for my synth loops when i have this machine
sitting unused right next to me.

Please email me if you have any questions. I dont have any references
from this group, but I'm fine to talk to you on the phone, and email,
and give you my street address and contact details. I have some
positive feedback on www.sold.com.au under the user "vindaloo_es1".

Thank you very much, and cheers for the BW.
