My Jupiter-8 is back from the workshop but alas, the problem isn't fixed...
Sometimes voice #8 is almost inaudible, but not always. And sometimes this
voice will "come back" after a little use.
My guess is that there's a loose contact somewhere that will close or open
when the machine heats up or cools down; anybody have a better idea or any
suggestions where to look or what to look for? Any help appreciated...
BTW: had an opportunity last week to fool around with the Studio
Electronics "Miniclone". what a cool machine! in fact i was so impressed
that i'm seriously considering buying one instead of a real Mini.
BTW2: a little bird has told me that the Mephisto synth will not be
released by Touched By Sound but has been scooped up by Vermona instead. It
also claimed that other TBS products (DRM-1 etc) will in fact be
discontinued. anyone know more or better ???
