Subject: [AH] Jupiter-8 questions

Hi

I have a Roland Jupiter-8 with the Encore JP-8 MIDI kit v. 5.1. I've found
some strange things with it that I would like to ask about:

The single "mix" output from the synth is louder than the "upper" and
"lower" outputs. Is it supposed to be like that?

Also, the output is louder when I only use one of the two oscillators than
when I mix the output of both. Is this normal?

When I hold the bender in the max or min position and bend VCO 1 or VCO 2
the pitch isn't constant, but changes slightly randomly. This ∗only∗ happens

when I hold it in the max or min position, not anywhere inbetween. I'm not
sure if this happens when I bend the VCF. Also, when I use the LFO
modulation button to modulate the VCO (and maybe the VCF too, I'm not sure)
I also get a bit of randomness before it locks into the LFO wave sometimes.
Is there something wrong here?

At last, the HPF only seems to work on four of the eight oscillators. When I

put the synth into test mode only oscillators 5-8 seems to work properly. I
supppose something is broke?

Best regards

xxxxyy111
