Hi guys,

Great to see some action on the list. Indeed, it has been a while... ;-)

I do my best to keep spam from entering the messages, but I'm afraid I can only do so much. Every once in a while an offending (or just plane annoying) message gets through. I'm sorry for that.

Your friendly moderator (er, that's me) is also a proud owner of a JP8. And yes, it is that heavy. When I went out on gigs we had to carry the case with at least two guys. It now (also) lives in my studio. I placed it on a hard-board vinyl-coated plate, supported by four placeholders which are tightly screwed into the concrete wall of my humble home studio.

'The beast' also needs some servicing. It still works great but there are a few glitches that could be repaired. All in good time though. I'm afraid to take it outdoors nowadays. And...it might also gonna cost me a modest fortune to get the job done...

Cheers for now,
Ricardo
