You can buy replacement knobs at Radio Shack or any electronics store.
It's a standard "half moon" knob fitting, though you might need a
jeweler's screw to secure the knob to the rod.

I haven't done it myself but it might make your AN1x look more, dare,
I say, "Vintage"
