I have been re-united with my AN200 recently having had it's power supply adapter returned to me.
Didn't quite realise how important it was to my sound!
It's such a powerful general purpose (virtual) analogue sound source and since i turned it on earlier today have produced
a piece of synth space rock i haven't been able to do for ages!

One trick i've found (i'm not sure if other's don't already use it) is to use a very slow (value 1 or 2 ) LFO to modulate pitch by a
tiny amount (again, a value of 1 or 2) of one oscillator and by the negative value on the other.
This adds a slight variation to pitch that's subtle and sounds rather good!
As for the LFO waveform, i've really only tried the sine wave to simulate a slow warble of pitch.

There's always the edge control to round things off nicely.

I got a new 2x12 speaker so I'm designing some new sounds. Always liked
the idea of Unison mode to fatten up a lead, but the Unison mode always
sounded shrill and digital. Then I noticed the tuning control up by the
mod matrix.Unison doesn't sound so shrill and digital when it's in tune.
