I could not but help reply to this post in Reguards to the DX/an200. While
one of its (few) shortcomings lies in a first muted notes between switching
some pattern numbers, I must add that it is quite a dependible LIVE unit,
and very uniqe post sequenceing instrument. For example, Most of the time
the FIRST NOTE of the next pettern number is not noticable MOST of the time
since you would probably doing it within a mix. In addition to that The
drum/pcm sequencer of the units hit NOTE ON everytime, only the Analog or
DX-FM sequencer skips the note since it takes quite some some to switch tone
settings (about 50-80 ms) witch is almost the equivilant of a 16th note in
most apps, hince the MUTED or droped note. Muted notes are much better that
the alternative (50-80ms of zipper noise!)

Is there a workaround w/ the sequencer--like putting your first hit
on the end. If everything is looping, would that change things too
much to have step 16 be note # 1? Either that or use the AN200 to
play 1 drop reggae.
Rainbow Jimmy.
