Paint. Who cares about paint.
There's BLASPHEMY occurring here in these photos.
Only ONE cable is running to the sound board (or amp IIRC what Jim's said about
his setup).
You need Stereo, my man. Beautiful, swirling, chorusing, panning, pulsing
Stereo.
But of course (as the French say): maybe you can't do it, eh? Or maybe your PA
setup isn't stereo, hm?
Or maybe, like many live performing artists, you've succumbed to the myth that
stereo live is a bad thing? Well, I'm here to tell ya that it's a great thing
and besides getting all of that buttery goodness out of a synth, the sound
person will be able to pull the vocals and instruments out of the mix in
beautifully subtle ways with a small pan left or right and a touch of EQ
seasoning for flavor. If available, stereo mixes always sound better.
If there is no PA amplification of the instruments ('60s style of "wall of amps"
behind the performers), I do apologize.
