Hi all,
Just came accross a Boss Blues Driver pedal which I'm using with the
blue meanie. Lot's a fun for my trashy organ sounds. But it's cool
for synth sounds too. I am currently borrowing this but hope to
purchase it soon as the guy wants to sell it. It's no tube amp but
then again I've already got an amp and need clean channels for other
stuff. Nice thing about this too is that you can have distortion along
with what ever effects you've got the an1x's effect section tied up
with. Like on my B3 patches, I want the rotary speaker but also
distortion and that's what I can get with this pedal.

I'd say it's maybe not quite as good as some of the tube pre-amps out
there but cheaper than a lot of them, and it does have the advantage of
being able to turned on/off at the push of the button.
