Bulk dump from AN expert editor will load the patches into userbank
(036/002. Hold down plg button and use inc/dec keys to find).
Userbank is a temporary memory buffer and will disappear everytime
you turn off synth. It is necessary to save userbank to memory card.
When saving userbank to card, name the file "AUTOLD1.s2b" if your plg
card is in #1 slot, or "AUTOLD2.s2b" if plg card is in #2 slot. This
way the userbank will automatically load itself every time you turn
on synth. Yamaha's owners' manual sucks, but there are "power user
guides" available on their website. Look for PLG150AN tutorial,
PLG/smartmedia card, FAQ, and cardfiler owners manual. This info
should have been in owners manual. Very confusing, but works well
once you've figured it out. Hope this
helps!
