Si! I'm very proud of my effort to write, read and sometimes speak english!
However, you know, if you want to join the largest community, you have to express
yourself in english, the best your english, the best your expression, and I think that it's
very important, and, in terms of communication, I believe that, explain that I'm italian and
that my english it's almost elementar, is usefull for the readers to make more efforts in
understand what I try to say! ;-)

Yes, I understand, but, with a little of programming at home, you can manage all just
typing a number... I use the XP80 as a Master, when I recall a Performance on it (1-32), all
other modules change to that preset (1-32), it's very fast and simple. My singer also like to
change following his instinct... and sometimes, yes, I've typed the wrong number! :-)))
That's "live"!

I think that the brass parts of the AN1X are useful only for synth type brass, if you
need something near the real thing it's better a rompler (like the JV1010). For Brasses and
Strings I have to use my XP80 (that is, you know, like the JV), For retro style strings or
brass pad, the AN1x is really good.
So, if you have to buy the AN1x to play ONLY classic brass patch, perhaps it's not a good
choice. A very good gear, but more expensive, it could be a Yamaha rompler with the
possibility to install the AN200 expansion (that is like the AN1x, or better?), like a Motif or
a less expensive S30 (more lightweight too) both with good acoustic and electric piano
patches plus the brass. Perhaps a CS6x too (but I don't know about good brass patch
inside...)
But if you play SOMETIMES brass parts (that you can rearrange with synth brass) and
OFTEN analog style leads or warm pads, then the AN1x it's ok. IMO.
Ciao a tutti!
