and bought a soundset meant for the PLG150AN board in a CS6x. I hoped
the file was in ∗.an1 or ∗.mid format and "pry" them into the AN1x,
but obviously, the CS6x has a whole different way to address its
addon cards and its programs.

Hello Bjorn,

It's a been awhile since we've seen this question posted to AN1x-list
and I'm uncertain how many CS6x user's are currently lurking ;-) If
no one on this list offers help I suggest you cross post to the CS6x
list:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/CS6X/

There are many PLG150-AN users there who might be willing to load the
sound bank into their CS6x w/ PLG150-AN and then convert them to .AN1
or .ANP format using AN1xEdit or AN Expert Editor.

Good luck.

Jon
