>I'd like to hear more listmembers compare the MS2000 to the AN1x.
Well, I don't really wanna compare the two because i love them both...and
those little buttons that your talking about on the MS 2000 are pretty lame
looking, but i think they serve a good purpouse, they are the appregiator
steps, i think it's better than the AN1x having to twist knobs to find your
note, i HATE that of course there is the AN1x Edit, but that doesnt hit the
whole AN1x market.....I am in LOVE with korg's delay function, it's
increadible, i use it all the time, and the fact that you can take an outside
source and run it thru all of the filters is enough for me (that's the only
reason i have a Korg EA-1, i use it solely for it's AUDIO IN feature and it's
delay, the MS2000 has TWO! Audio IN's!)
The AN1x is a great synth, and i'll always be attached to it cause it can do
so many things, it's a classic....The MS2000 is a mix between the AN1x and
the EA-1 and a little bit added and im sure ill be just as attached to
it-just in a different way....for me they are two different synths, they do
practically the same thing, but i'll have very different applications for
both of them....
oh yeah, about the look of the MS2000, you know, i got into a fight with a
kid the other day cause i said i didnt like the Kurzweil K2000, and he
thought it was cause i didnt like the way it looked.....i could give two
shits what a synth looks like as long as it sounds good and fits my needs
y'know? This kid passed up a few GREAT synths simply cause he didnt like the
way the looked, i think that is pretty much just absurd! So, in short, i
could care less if the MS2000 had "I AM A DORKY CANDY RAVER" welded to the
front of it as long as it did what it does :-)
