controller and I am still leaning towards Korg microkontroler but it too has some

to touch or find anything other than Behringers site to look at... and I have not
thought about this for a few weeks either as I don't have the funds to buy... but

I really like the Korg microKobtrol. It's obviously new substitute for a controller with
full size keys but, those 'springy' mini-key s are indded fun to play with as are the
velocity sensitive pads. What attracts me to the Korg is a) the number of preset
templates provided (which cover 90% of the softsynths I own) and b) the editing
software is OS X ready and appears to be easy to use.

I'm aware of the new Behringer control surface/mixers but I honestly haven't paid too
much attention. I am very interested in that new Yamaha 01x (?) model but, again, I
haven't spent much time on it.

It seems like every time I turn around there's some cool new piece of technology
fueling my case of G.A.S.!!!

like to have a controller that I can just use just for that VST or other synth (like the
darkstar). I sometimes like to have them playing all the tracks at once I am working
on so I can fiddle with them a bit... The way I am doing it now, I play back the audio I
recorded and fiddle... works but fiddle with it live then reset to record would be more
ideal for me... I do things different, I know...

In addition to the Korg, I read up a little on the Evolution 33e which appears to have a
little better delivered Win support than Mac support. But there seems to be a few Mac
user's out there sharing there tweaks to the controller maps. The PDFs for this stuff
can be had from the vendor sites.
