Any true difference is slight at best. The level of the NL2
recordings are a bit higher than the NL3. That may be why people are
hearing a difference.
I've not had a chance to try out any patch comparisons yet.

Congrats on the new AN1x.... Do you notice much difference between it
and the other AN-based synths you have? I've always found the EX5 to
have a slightly warmer/fuller sound than the AN1x, although it only
has half of the voices.

I am really enjoying the NL3 at this point. I was lucky to get it for
under $1k.

Kewl! I have not been to EX5 Tech for a while. MarcE is back,
fantastic!!! And 160 new sounds for the EX. :)
