Subject: Goodbye

Hello All,

I've finally sold and shipped my AN1x. It's a great instrument, and I'll miss it, but I don't have a lot of room around for gear that isn't getting used Thus, owning neither an AN1x, AN200, or PL150AN, belonging to an AN1x-based list isn't really in the cards. I didn't want to leave, though, without thanking all of the people on this list who provided insights, patches, and just plain food for thought over the last few years. This is one of the more pleasant lists that I've belonged to, and the restraint and tolerance displayed here should be applauded. In particular, I'd like to thank Jon creating and moderating this list, and for his help and insights; and I'd like to thank (Rainbow) Jim for his help, and for just making me laugh -- and think -- from time to time.

If anyone needs to contact me, I don't expect the ashbysolutions.com (below) link to disappear any time soon. Also, the ModSynth Page -- such as it is -- will stay put for the foreseeable future. I'm going to add some new items soon, and would welcome items from members of the list. Right now, the AN1x coverage is decent, but just about everything else is spotty.

Good luck to all!

Regards,

-BW

P.S. Jon, sorry for the re-subscribe hassles. I actually wrote this a couple of hours ago, and left the list about 20 min. later. However, the idiosyncrasies of the Internet being what they are, my leaving the list preceded the email reaching the server, and so it bounced. This time, I'll wait a bit. :^|
