I had the same problem and I wasn't able to solve it without an ide cd rom
drive.
The bios can't recognize the scsi devices because the driver for the scsi
controller isn't installed.
but to install the driver you have to install windows first.
What I did was to borrow an ide cd rom and then everything was easy.
Maybe there is another way I'm also curious.
