You can also visit www.yamahasynth.com and choose "Owner's Manuals".
Yamaha has nearly all their manuals online there and are available for
download, in several languages too. And even for equipment from yesteryear.
Not only convenient when you can't locate your paper manual, but using a pdf
version is easier to search (let the computer do the hard work) for specific
topics. It is also a great 'presale tool'.

Hi Greg,
>I bought an AN1x last week (without manual).
I have the AN1x manual in PDF form, in several languages, here:
http://music.ashbysolutions.com/modsynthI also have the Data and Setup guides, but only in English.
>I want to use it in a multitimbral mode with a sequencer (Sonar 2.2 XL) and
other gears..., but I can t do it.
>I don t understand the way it works. I didn t find how to setup the synth
to receive in OMNI mode.
>The AN1x can support up to 2 channels with 5 notes max. of poliphony, right
???
The AN1x has two receive channel settings, which may be the same channel, or
different channels. They can be set through the front panel, or through
AN1xEdit. The amount of keys which each channel receives, however, differs
depending on the Split mode used. The manual has more details.
If you set up the synth to receive in Omni Mode, though, then it cannot tell
the receive information channels apart, except by making keyboard zones
(splits). Are you sure that this is what you want to do?
Regards,
-BW
