My $0.02 --
I've had similar problems with AN1xEdit in Win2K. I've found that I can transfer small amounts of data well, but a full bulk dump of the AN1x is a big problem. I did not have this problem in Win98SE.
I use a Midiman 2x2 USB -- actually, I use a pair of them together -- and while using InA+OutA or InB+OutB has this problem, I use OutA+InB with no problems at all. I don't know if this is because of driver issues or Win2K issues, but dividing up the tasks between the two ports solves my problems. Maybe its a USB "endpoints" issue?
Regards,
-BW
