Subject: Re: [AN1x] AN1X or Korg Z1?

Hi,

I've got a Z1 and a motif with the PLG150AN buildin. So I can't speak
for a real AN1X.
However imho the Z1 is in a different class then the AN1X. The Z1 has
13 different models for its oscillators where the AN has one.
The Z1 has more knobs (usefull for editting reason). The Z1 has more
FX processors.

Now the AN sounds more vintage analog in my ears, the Z1 is more silky
in its sounds, but also more digital. They both sound very good, just
different.
So in the end it depends on what you want from it and what budget you
have, they are both good machines.

Grtz Wan
