We do Fly Like An Eagle, and there is an easier way to do the sequences -- use the sequencer. :^) There is a little trick to it, though: I programmed several different variations on the runs to the lowest octave of white keys, then programmed silence into all the black keys. Then I set the AN1x to the mode where you can queue up a new sequence while the old one is playing. Once this is done, all I have to do is hit the proper white key to trigger the sequence I want, then immediately hit a black key; the synth will play the first riff, then play silence until the next time I hit a white key! You can also program longer sequences this way; program the two halves of the sequence to two adjacent white keys (ex: C and D). Then hit one key (C), wait a half a bar then hit the second white key (D), then wait until the second sequence kicks in before hitting a black key.
I programmed a split with the same sound in the upper four octaves, but no sequencer. This allows me to solo on the sound when I want, or play a sequence when the Hammond part gets busy.
