I would add that there is no 3rd oscillator at the Scene level on the AN1x so you won't
be able to control LFO rate using that method. But you could do something like set
FM Depth to +32, set FM Source2 to VCO2, reduce the VCO2 Level, and use the VCO2
Pitch and/or Fine Tune parameters to mod the FM amount - then you could assign a
controller in the Ctrl Matrix to increase/decrease the VCO2 Pitch amount. Kind of
close to what you want, maybe?

you will find an archive of AN1x Voices from Yamaha amongt the User Voice archives
There is a sound bank in .mid format called 'Starter' that contains some Moog
emulations - you might want to load this bank up and see if there's a Voice close to
what you're after as a start off point...
