The silver knobs were released by Yamaha as a promo item for one of the CS
synths, most probably the 2x. I was working in a music shop at the time and
tried to persuade my then boss that she should let me have them for the AN1x
I had purchased from her not long before getting the job - so no discount
:-( Couldn't persuade her to part with the knobs either, so they are
probably still lost somewhere in her office. Although on reflection I think
I prefer the black knobs, I've always thought black synths look more cool
anyway ;-)
