I find it interesting to make a copy of Scene 1 in Scene 2 with not
too subtle changes for Scene 2 in VCA or VCF env parameters,
filter settings and mod depth settings. I don't use the Morph
control as a make shift patch select I prefer to use it for real time
changes while playing: perhaps a swell using the Mod Wheel
during sustain chords. Try layering percussive type sounds with
non-percussive type sounds.

Try using the FreeEG on the VCO Edge settings for continuously
variable waveforms or the Sync Pitch settings to emulate
sweeping a wavetable. The most obvious choices would be the
Filter Cutoff or the Variation Effect parameter.

I would use velocity to simulate "a spike of sync pitch to create a
sharp attack, like a guitar" rather than the FreeEG but if it works
for you...
