Hi AQ,
Welcome to the list!
The LED blinking during sequences is normal. During sequence playing, the AN1x seems to lose track of the LEDs from time to time; this does not seem to damage anything, or lose any data. Upgrading the ROM will not change this "feature." I upgraded from v1.02 to v1.04, and the blinking is still there. To be honest, I saw no changes between v1.02 and v1.04. As they say in the automobile ads, "your mileage may vary."
Regards,
-BW
