The MIDI setting for TEMPO is used to synchronize the AN1x
clock to MIDI Clock signals generated by an external clock, such
as a MIDI sequencer. If the Tempo from the external clock
changes, the AN1x will follow.
I'm uncertain why you would want to use a tap-tempo like feature
with the AN1x - in my experience tap-tempo is most useful for
synchronizing the tempo of a sequence to a that of a loop on a
groove box type of device.
