I like to set the portamento in the high 40s. It's also fun to layer
two voices, each with a different portamento rate-set it on dual
unison, with a good amount of separation and detune.
Don't forget polyphonic portamento. This can give you a nice ginky
rhythmic effect almost a pitch wah wah.
