>Roland Junos (106, 60, 6, alpha1, alpha2, mks-50) have only one oscilator, so you cannot get the detuned sound. I suggest a nord, virius, or sid station. Have not tied it with the AN1X yet. It seems hard to program to me (compared to the three i mentioned).
You can get a sound that is very close to detuning by using a single oscillator with a lot of PWM at a relatively fast rate. Adding some chorus will increase the effect. I used to do this on the Roland Juno-6 I owned in the early 80's.
