Hello Nuno,

There is a freeware, cross platform Editor/Librarian for the AN1x
that was commisioned by Yamaha - AN1xEdit by Gary Gregson.
AFAIK it was not distributed with the AN1x but was freely
available for download on the web. You'll find a copy of this
software in the Files section here at Yahoo! Groups
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files

In addition, Yamaha provided many fine alternative voice sets for
the AN1x which have been mirrored in the Files section for this
list - along with MANY user Voice contributions. The majority of
these Voices are in .an1 format, specific to AN1xEdit, and are
usable with the AN200 and PLG150 too. There are many Voices
in .mid and .syx format too and these will require an application
other than AN1xEdit to upload to your AN1x, i.e., a bulk SysEx
librarian or MIDI sequencer for example. The EX5Tech folks even
put together an application to translate AN1x voice data to a
format the EX5/7 synths can use for the AN synth built into those
units.

You'll find a great many other resources in the Files section.
Hope you make good use of them. Welcome to the list.

Jon
