I received an email reply two days ago from YCA Support in
regards to the Ribbon Controller problem report - the tech
confirmed there are no OS versions newer than V1.04 for the
AN1x.

I placed a follow up call to the tech support number yesterday to
rephrase my question - is there is a fix for the Ribbon Controller
bug? - and received a callback today. The tech confirmed there is
no fix other than what we've already discussed - use an Assign
Knob or Mod Wheel when a fixed value is necessary and the the
Ribbon Controller for dynamic changes.

Bruce has confirmed the problem exists at the MIDI Outs and not
just the internal tone generator. It would seem the MIDI CC #013
+ 1 --> 127 value message is being followed by a MIDI CC #013
and a value of zero. Obviously you could program these values
into your seqeuncer - or even the AN1x step sequencer - but that
kind of defeats the point of real time control doesn't it? Oh well.
