That looks like an awful lot of fun- but I personally prefer a synth with
knobs/sliders on it- and in a logical order too. But I also know how much
Jupiter 8's weighed!!
I find it also really interesting that an awful amount of manufacturers
always hark on about people wanting that analogue sound. For what I can
remember it wasn't necessarily wanting that sound but more wanting THAT type
of interface. It just happened that when you stumble across something that
has a tactical interface and is analogue- you can't help noticing the
sound/warmth that is associated with it.
I think if someone offered me an Ondes Martenot, I would sell everything and
concentrate soley on learning to play and master that. Period!
