Yeah software is the way forward- although I still drool over the idea
of a small analogue modular (god -this is such a 'boy's' list- 'an I wanna
go shark fishing, racing cars and pulling some birds....hahahahahaha!!).

Back to the software, Check out both Ableton's "LIVE" (which is another
very cool Acid like program, but works on a Mac- www.ableton.com),
and Cellsynth (which is a shareware 'NI Reaktor' like synth- and very good
sounding too!!- www.cellsynth.co.uk)- as far as I am aware, these programs
only work on the Macintosh- (but...is this an excuse to get the worlds
greatest platform, bar linux?- hehehehe).

(- I think that's fair?? since both 'Acid' and 'Cool Edit Pro' DON"T run on a
Macintosh!!!?)
