No... I hadn't asked it to, so it must have just found the drivers.
Unfortunately I don't have a backup option, no tape, no CD burner...and floppies would need too many. I may have to do something like that but will keep it as last resort.

I found the option and why it comes up. It is about "polling" the game port for multiple interrupts.
I found out you get the box ONLY when the slotted choice box above is set to something other than blank. I saw it appear when I choose something there.

That is what I thought.

Reggie, listen I do want to thank you for going through all the bother and trying to help out. I have at least a better idea of where the problem must be (cable or PC setup or hardare in PC). I need to figure out where to take it from here...I am going to try to resintall windows drivers for joystick, etc and see if it helps.
