Hello all,
well believe it or not I am still desperately trying to get
the new OS for my AN1X
Yamaha Holland didn't even bother to replay
few tech shops in Belgium and Holland did
after a suggestion from yamaha Germany
25 euro for AN1X
and 166 euro for the EX5 ! orf orf ! outrageous !!! :-(
I can't believe u have to pay so much for
OBVIOUS MIDI sysex bug fixes that are certainly not an
UPGRADE or an extra add on feature, but a FIX !
Many more honest company do it for free
(has it was for my korg propechy and few Roland gears
or the Waldorf pulse at least i could burn myself the EPROM)
now i am ready to pay even if it is unethical to me ..
but at this price is a robbery ! ( i am more pissed at ex5 then an1x
of course)
and 6 weeks waiting time !
hope this nightmare will end soon ))
keep old OS unless u have problems !
i guess if u just play is ok
if u edit and use midisysex a lot it isn't (
sounddiver doesn't work properly with any my an1x (1.02) and
ex5r (1 OS version behind)
