Peter' is absolutely right - when I see someone type in
uppercase I assume they're shouting and without any other
notation it's difficult to determine what's an attempt at irony or
sarcasm.

And to be quite frank about it - I don't have the time or inclination
to guess at someones intentions. That's why good netiquette
should be adhered to.
