backup your an1x with sysex, and do a hardware reset (forgot how to do it).
.and see if you have the same problems that's what I would suggest doing
cause seems yours is in a weird state.

AN1x-list@egroups.comSubject: [AN1x-list] two more problems
Sorry for all these messages right away. I have had two
other main problems.
This one I don't think anybody can do anything about, but
it's worth asking: In my stage setup I slave the AN1x to an
external sequencer by setting the VOICE COMMON Tempo setting
to MIDI. And for the Delay, I always choose TempoDly. If this
setup worked smoothly, it would be so great. But what happens
is: a) I get a crackling noise and b) sometimes, not always,
the AN1x crashes!! freezes! I have to turn it on and off to
bring it back to life. When I change the Tempo setting to
an internal clock setting (like 120), the crackling goes away
and it doesn't crash. Has anybody else encountered this? Found
any solutions? Maybe this is part of the reason they discontinued
them.
Also, on one of my AN1x's, as soon as I touch the ribbon controller,
it keeps defaulting to the lowest (left setting), instead of having
the middle be the default. So, often when I touch it, the filter
cutoff goes to zero, unless I hold my finger on it in the middle
somewhere. On my other AN1x, this never happens. It always keeps the
middle as the default. Is this a version problem, or is there a
setting I can change?
Many thanks,
Paul
